Amy graduated from Harcum College with a Certified Animal Health Technician’s degree. She began working at Susque Valley Animal Hospital in 1987, and Amy is still going strong at the practice as it has evolved to the current Pine Creek Veterinary Associates, PC.
She chose a career with animals, she says, because it seemed to be her calling in life. “God gives us all gifts,” she explains. “Mine seems to be working with animals, so veterinary medicine was an easy choice.”
Amy still resides in her hometown of Howard with her husband Ron. Her main priority is spending quality family time with her daughter Amanda and son Glenn, as well as Glenn’s growing family.
