Can my dog’s broken tooth cause a problem?
Upon exam I noticed that the right canine tooth had been broken off right at the gum line.
The tooth was infected and needed to be removed.
Pulling teeth is not easy. The canine tooth has a very long root as you can see in the picture on the right.
You can only see the top third of your pets teeth everything else happens below the gum line.
The picture on the right is comparing the length of the tooth root to a quarter.
