Founder and Veterinarian
Dr. Robert D. Reese received both his undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Kansas State University, earning his DVM in 1990. After beginning his career at a veterinary hospital in Seattle, Washington, he returned home to Lock Haven to join his father, Dr. Robert H. Reese, in practice at Susque Valley Animal Hospital.
In 2001, Dr. Reese founded Pine Creek Veterinary Associates, P.C., carrying on his family’s legacy of compassionate, high-quality veterinary care. Under his leadership, the practice has grown into a thriving, community-focused clinic serving families throughout the region.
Dr. Reese is especially passionate about surgery and enjoys both the technical challenge and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in pets’ lives. He values the lasting relationships he’s built with clients over the years and takes pride in mentoring a talented team of veterinary professionals.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Reese and his wife, Jacquie, enjoy an active lifestyle centered on fitness, faith, and community. They spend time trail running, biking together, and traveling. They cherish time spent with their seven adult children. Dr. Reese and his family are also deeply involved with their local church and community ministry, dedicating time to service and outreach. He also supports local youth and collegiate wrestling through Lock Haven University and Mat Town USA, where he serves as treasurer.
The Reese family shares their home with their dachshund, Remi, and golden retriever, CJ.
