Hi my name is Patch! I was adopted from Kentucky. I tested positive for Heartworm at my check-up appointment. Dr. Reese told my dad I would need multiple treatments to get rid of these wiggly heartworm things that are living in my heart. YUCK!

You don't know what heartworm is? That's ok, neither did I. Check out this video to learn more. HEARTWORM

Dr. Reese and my nurses let me keep my bed and favorite toys with me while I was being treated!

Patch did great with his treatments. He wanted to make sure every pet parent heard his story, because being in the hospital for multiple treatments is "RUFF"! Keep your pets on a monthly heartworm prevention.
